About the Departments

 

The department of Computer Engineering of Bu-Ali Sina University started its activities in 1999 by admitting students in the field of Computer Engineering, subfield of Software. In 2008, first group of M.A students were admitted in the subfield of Artificial Intelligence. With the expansion of the department, in 2011 the department successfully admitted PhD. students in the subfields of Machine Intelligence and Robotics in addition to M.A students in the field of Information Technology, subfield of Computer Networks. Currently the Department of Computer Engineering of Bu-Ali Sina University engages in educational and research activities in the following levels and subfields with 11 faculty members (1 associate professor, 8 assistant professors, 1 instructor and 1 instructor (commissioned to study) and nearly 300 active students:

 

 1-   B.A in Computer Engineering

2-   M.A in Computer Engineering – Subfield of Machine Intelligence and Robotics

3-   M.A in Information Technology Engineering – Subfield of Computer Networks

4-   PhD. in Computer Engineering – Subfield of Machine Intelligence and Robotics
